Choir

​The choir strives to elevate and enhance the worship experience at Saints Matthew and Mark church. Our aim is to accomplish this goal in a creative and relaxed environment while not taking ourselves too seriously. The choir sings for the 10 AM Holy Eucharist most Sundays from the weekend after Labor Day through Trinity Sunday (late May/early June), and also on Christmas Eve and for the Triduum during Holy Week (Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil). We rehearse on Sunday mornings at 8:45 prior to the service (and on occasion following the service during Advent and Holy Week). Membership is open to all. The Hymnal 1982 is our primary resource, but we also include repertoire from a broader and often more contemporary cross-section of liturgical music.
